Supplier Quality associate will work directly with suppliers on problem resolution and communicate actions, status and resolution to Global Operations and site customers. Supplier Quality is also responsible for ensuring suppliers are in full compliance with flow down requirements including Quality Management Systems, Engineering, Purchasing and ZDP
?Develop and follow supplier quality systems and procedures to assure high quality products are received which meet customer requirements
?Works directly with internal customers to ensure product is continually flowing to Puerto Rico sites.
?Perform AS9100 Quality System audits and product audits at the supplier as required
?Provide support regarding technical and process related questions
?Initiate and follow up on Corrective Actions
?Support and drive Zero Defect plan with assigned suppliers
?Perform training with new suppliers to ensure requirements are understood and processes are in place to meet them
?Review Supplier Report Cards and drive continuous improvement to meet goals
?Support return to vendor process
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline
3 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment
?3 years of manufacturing experience
?Root Cause analysis
?Understands Lean Principles
?Good Communication Skills
?Demonstrated Leadership Abilities
?Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
?Bilingual: English & Spanish
? Position requires15-20% Travel
