job summary:
Business Overview:
We are searching for a Software Engineer to work in the GM front office IT team in charge of the equities and derivatives trading applications. The team responsibility is to provide the EQD Front Office trading team with a reliable and powerful trading environment (trading applications and framework, analysis and back testing, reporting features). More particularly, our domain of expertise is to propose an adapted trading solution in regard of the large quantity of data that is made available through different internal systems (historical and real time data, P&L and risk systems) or external ones (Bloomberg, Market Feed, News) .
Responsibilities:
The main responsibility of the position is to keep improving the Neat Dash Board. This Big Data application is used to automatically detect market opportunities and take automatic decisions and actions to optimize the trading position.
As a lead programmer, the employee should:
Make high-level design choices
Dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
Understand the interactions and dependencies among components
Recognize potential reuse in the organization or in the application
Liaise with teams in Paris related to system development subjects
As a developer they should also implement the required modifications and make sure the applications benefit from the most innovative technologies.
Minimum required qualifications
BA (or equivalent) required in IT and Finance. Advanced degree considered a plus.
Python coding language mastered
JavaScript and Web Design
Be familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps technologies
Minimum of 3 years of financial industry experience as a FO developer.
Excellent communications skills
Preferred qualifications:
Good knowledge of pricing (derivatives products) and exotics products.
Good knowledge of current most advanced web technologies
