Organizes and maintains proper inventory levels of manufacturing parts and supplies. We have an opening on 2nd and 3rd
Continually keep the physical inventory on various manufacturing parts and supplies and report results to the Sites Store Manager on a timely basis.
Contact vendors regarding shortages/overages. Expedite orders as needed.
Receive small part orders, verify contents with packing slip against purchase order to make sure correct item(s)/quantity is received.
Perform Quarterly inventory.
Receive items and stock storeroom.
Unload delivery trucks.
Package small items, make out shipping paper (pack slip), weigh item and fill out shipper's paperwork to send items for return or repair.
Log items to be shipped out for repairs and returning from being repairs in repair tracking log.
Transport vendor shipments to all buildings on campus.
Pick-up packages for Melt Shop/VAR that are delivered to the Admin building.
Collect inventory tags at locations in the Melt and VAR Shops. Verify inventory. Add to Melt Shop request for parts/supplies as necessary.
Check PPE cabinets and parts cabinets for supplies and restock as needed.
Clean immediate work area. Assist as needed in general plant cleaning as required
In the absences of the Sites Store Manager, order normal emergency items with approval from another manager.
Update existing forms and continue to add new forms for better record keeping. (Follow ISO guidelines)
Assist Sites Store Manager with special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
H.S. Diploma or GED required
Strong learning aptitude is required
Some maintenance experience preferred
Some experience in a manufacturing environment needed
Basic math and reading comprehension skills are required
Ability to work well with all organizational levels
Strong organizational skills are required
Basic typing and computer skills needed
Proof of US citizenship, nationality, and/or permanent resident status in order to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations.

Additional schooling (college, trade school) preferred
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance desired
Microsoft Word and Excel experience a plus.
