Aerospace Systems sector is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Risk Engineer, Facilities to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA. Responsibilities include daily interface with Maintenance Managers and Technicians of all trades to understand and identify infrastructure risks throughout the facility, executing the NG's Risk Process and incorporating all risk data into the Risk Assessment Data Storage Tool, responding to risk assessment data calls, participating in Corrective Action Meetings for infrastructure failures and assisting with developing corrective actions. Additionally, this position will ensure incorporation of Technician feedback into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), review drawings of new builds or new infrastructure and equipment formaintainability and provide feedback to Project Management. Other duties include working with Maintenance Planners to ensure technical input to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is accurate and reflective of current state with respect to the various data modules in the system. Regularly work with other departments to collect information and ensure adherence to equipment specifications and compliance requirements for Facilities based production and infrastructure equipment. Assists in developing and implementing sector-wide processes in an effort to optimize maintenance activities, resources and risk management operations. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of various types of infrastructure. Examples include Fire Systems, Boilers, Air Compressors, Humidifiers, Chillers, Pumps, Variable Frequency Drives, HVAC devices and controls, Roof Systemsetc. as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math and minimum of 5 years' experience Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications General working knowledge of Facilities trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire) Proficient in Microsoft Office of products Must be timely, well organized with excellent communication skills Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Risk Assessment and rating of major infrastructure systems and trades (HVAC, Electrical Distribution, Water Distribution, Fire, Civil, Structural, and similar.
